The Doxa 6:4 Internship exists to equip godly men through a practical training program and an environment of spiritual fellowship and relationships which emphasize unreserved commitment to the worship of God, submission to the authority of the Scriptures, a life of personal holiness, the priority of the local church, and the mission of penetrating the world with the Truth.

For an aspiring elder/pastor or church planter/missionary, we provide a 2-year 4-semester internship intended to be supplemental to a seminary education and bridge the gap between the classroom and the local church (get an example of one such semester syllabus here). Our goal is to train and equip for the work of ministry both in our local church and in the multiplication of churches and ministries. View the biblical qualifications for Elders here.

Applications for the 2024/2025 session are now closed.

Phil Evans: Phil Evans and his wife April, along with their family, have been attending Doxa since 2017. Both he and April are filled with gratitude that the Lord blessed them with four lovely children to disciple.  Phil has served in various capacities in ministry at Doxa, which have included the worship team, and currently, he is a Deacon of Freedom Groups, a leader of a small group in their home, and also serves in the kid's discipleship ministry with his wife, April.  As the Lord continues to mold and shape his heart for ministry, Phil's aspiration is to serve in a role of eldership.

Benjamin Kloss: Ben Kloss has been an attending member of DOXA since 2021. He and his wife Barbara have been married for over seventeen years, and they’ve been blessed with three incredible children: Brahm, Brennan, and Brighton. Previously, Benjamin received Pastoral Ministries training at Western Baptist College, where he played collegiate baseball for three years. He later earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from California State University Sacramento and a D.M.D from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He currently serves in the worship ministry and leads a small-group Bible study. Benjamin deeply desires to be more equipped as a leader in his home, church, and business.

Jeff McComb: Jeff McComb has been attending Doxa since 2022 with his wife, Candy, and their 4 children, Corban, Levi, Joshua, and Lianna. They have led small groups for over 12 years and led several medical/dental missions in the Philippines since 2006. Jeff has felt a call to serve the Lord in pastoral ministry since 2016 and is now excited to get better equipped and press into God's will for his service.

Stan Pribytkovsky: Stan Pribytkovsky and his wife Inna have been attending members of Doxa for about two years. They are parents to three young kids: Phillip (3), Olivia (2), and Milana (8 months). Stan graduated from UC Davis and works as a senior software developer. Stan and Inna previously served in young adult ministry, and currently host and lead a Doxa small group. Stan also plays keys for kid's worship. In the future, Stan and Inna hope to serve in church planting or missions overseas, specifically serving in Eastern European contexts.
