The Five Solas

505 years ago Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Church, which unleashed the Protestant Reformation. In celebration of the 505th anniversary of this pivotal movement in church history, we're beginning a five-week series on the five solas of the Reformation: sola scriptura (Scripture alone), sola gratia (Grace alone), sola fide (faith alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone). These five solas form the central tenets of the Christian gospel that we stand upon, that we celebrate, that we defend and that we have been entrusted to share with a lost world.
