Big Idea: Your attitude and ethic at work is directly connected to your witness

 

Scenario #1- You work for an unbeliever (v. 1)

  1. Attitude - Respect the person so God’s name and the gospel aren’t reviled

  2. Ethic - Work to adorn God’s name and the gospel well 

 

Scenario #2- You work for a believer (v. 2)

  1. Attitude - Don’t disrespect the person on account of your common faith  

  2. Ethic - Work all the better for the benefit of the believer
