4 expectations and assurances:

 

1. Avoid hypocrisy (vv. 1-3)

Assurance: The truth will come out

 

2. Fear God (vv. 4-7)

Assurance: God knows you and cares about you

 

3. Acknowledge Christ (vv. 8-10)

Assurance: Christ will acknowledge you

 

3. Trust the Spirit (vv. 11-12)

Assurance: The Spirit will give you the words
