Thank you for your interest in learning more about Small Group Leadership. Here at Doxa, Small Groups are at the heart of our discipleship-making process and we are eager for you to consider this important leadership role.
Before you take any next steps in becoming a Small Group Leader, it is helpful for you to know that Small Group Leaders are members of Doxa Church who are already participating in a small group. That is because we want to multiply leaders from existing small groups who have embodied the philosophy.

We hope this will help you to make an informed and prayerful decision as to whether you might choose to start a Small Group in the future.
If you are currently a member and actively participating within a Small Group, here are your next steps:
- Print off or save the SG Leader Training Notes: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
- Watch the initial training videos on Ministry Grid: MAKE AN ACCOUNT HERE
- Fill out the application (available at the end of the training videos)
- Meet with Pastor Stu
The initial training videos are created to give you a good overview of what Small Groups are at Doxa and the expectations of the role as a leader. But don’t worry, the training does not stop there. We actively want to equip you in person as you start a small group.
Several times a year, we provide New Small Group Leader training that consists of meeting once a month for four months with other New Small Group leaders and Pastor Stu. At the conclusion of the training, you will connect with a Small Group Coach that will be available to you for guidance, support, and care as you lead your group.
We hope all of this information will help you to make an informed and prayerful decision.
