Soul Care Groups at Doxa
These small communities are for short-term group counseling and care. The goal of these groups is to foster mutual support, prayer, and encouragement, reminding members they're not alone in their faith journey. Drawing inspiration from Ecclesiastes 4:9 and 1 Thessalonians 5:11, participants find hope and guidance from those further along in their walk while also encouraging others. This cycle of giving and receiving support beautifully embodies the essence of Christian community. They meet on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Spring and Fall and they focus on three key areas: Grief, Marriage, and Freedom.

Freedom Groups
Freedom Groups are for those seeking to experience the power of the Gospel in their daily lives. This 15-week intensive discipleship process helps you understand how the Gospel relates to all areas of life, particularly life-dominating sin, suffering, and trials. It’s not just for major issues but also for the everyday stuckness we experience in different seasons of our lives. Those who have participated have found a new depth in connecting the Gospel to everyday moments and have experienced a closer communion with Christ than ever before.
Marriage Groups
Marriage Groups offer Christ-centered discipleship for all marriages, whether in a good place or facing challenges. These groups create a welcoming environment to promote unity through small groups, teaching, and stories of hope. If you are in your first year of marriage and want some tools or in your 50th year and need a tune-up, these groups will be a great resource. If you are in a dry spot in your marriage, or you have just walked through counseling and need some continued support, this is the group for you. We desire that Christ will meet you this season and re-kindle your love for Him and your spouse.
Grief Groups
Healing from the loss of a loved one is a journey that unfolds differently for each person. As your church family, we want to come alongside you with the hope and healing that Christ offers because grief is a journey that shouldn’t be traveled alone. Grief groups are a safe environment and are designed to provide comfort, guidance, and resources for individuals navigating the challenging process of grieving the death of a loved one. The weekly topics address the everyday struggles in grief, offering wisdom from the Bible, valuable tips, encouragement, and direction.
