At Doxa, Soul Care is a term describing Biblical Counseling and Soul Care Groups that help people grow as disciples of Jesus. Belonging to a Small Groups is the vital “Discipleship in Community” for every Christian to be a part of, and Biblical Counseling is “Intensive Discipleship” that comes alongside someone for a season to help a struggling, suffering, or sinning Christian to grow to maturity in Christ.
Biblical Counseling
Biblical Counseling comes alongside the Small Groups at Doxa. In a Biblical Counseling relationship, a trained Doxa Counselor enters into someone’s life and circumstances for a season in order to help them get unstuck and continue growing.
Soul Care Groups
Soul Care Groups are short-term discipleship groups to help you with seasons of hardships, sin, or suffering. They cover topics such a marriage, grief, and sanctification.
