Big Idea: Whatever your lot in life, seek to please your Master in heaven

 1) Understand it: Slaves, obey and serve your earthly master from the heart (3:22)

Apply it: Christian, do your work from a sincere heart to honor the Lord

2)Understand it: Slaves, remember your work is ultimately for Christ, from whom you will receive an eternal inheritance (3:23-25)

Apply it: Working with an eternal mindset as unto the Lord should make you an excellent worker (3:23-25)

3) Understand it: Masters, treat your servants equitably knowing your Master in heaven is watching (4:1)

Apply it: No matter one’s authority on earth, all Christians serve their Master in heaven
